When I started The Simple Catholic, I simply wanted to share my love for the Catholic faith and help make its beauty a little easier for others to understand. Over the years, God has opened doors for this little corner of the internet in ways that I never could have anticipated.

That is why I am grateful to share that Feedspot has once again recognized The Simple Catholic as one of its Top 100 Catholic Blogs on the web for 2026 . I am humbled by the recognition, but even more grateful for every person who has read, shared, commented on, or been encouraged by something I have written.

Keeping the Catholic Faith Simple

I started The Simple Catholic in 2015, and a lot has changed since then. What began as a place for me to write about the Catholic faith has developed into opportunities to write for other Catholic publications, collaborate with Catholic organizations and businesses, and connect with Catholics from around the world.

But the basic mission hasn’t changed.

Catholicism is incredibly deep. We have 2,000 years of history, theology, saints, councils, devotions, traditions, and countless books exploring the mysteries of our faith. That depth is one of the things I love most about being Catholic, but it can also feel overwhelming.

My goal with The Simple Catholic has always been to make the faith accessible without watering it down. Whether I’m writing about a saint, biblical typology, the Eucharist, prayer, suffering, or something from my own life, I hope readers walk away knowing a little more about the Catholic faith and, more importantly, wanting to grow closer to Jesus.

I am grateful to Feedspot for including The Simple Catholic among its Top 100 Catholic Blogs for 2026. It is encouraging to see this apostolate recognized alongside so many other people working to share the Catholic faith online.

Feedspot is an RSS Reader that lets you subscribe to blogs, news sites, and any website you want to keep up with. You can also find The Simple Catholic and many other Catholic websites through its list of Top 100 Catholic Blogs.

Recognition is certainly encouraging, but rankings and numbers aren’t why The Simple Catholic exists. The internet provides Catholics with an incredible opportunity to evangelize, sometimes reaching people we may never meet in person.

• An article written years ago can appear in someone’s search results at exactly the moment they are looking for an answer. A post about a saint might introduce someone to a new heavenly intercessor. A reflection on Scripture might encourage someone to open their Bible again. Even a simple Catholic meme can plant a small seed of curiosity about the faith.

We don’t always get to see what God does with those seeds.

That verse is a good reminder of what Catholic evangelization should ultimately be about. We can write articles, create posts, have conversations, and share the faith, but God is the One who brings about the growth.
